Constellation Consulting General Consultant Sara Love is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of New Mexico and is excited to work with Constellation Consulting as a voice for behavioral health and social work through her passion and values of equity and social justice.

Sara believes our relationships with animals and nature have immense potential for healing and has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and groups using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with Equine Therapeutic Connections in Albuquerque, NM. Sara believes the solution-focused and client-centered approach partnered with the power of horses through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association model can create positive, impactful, and long-lasting change for clients.

Sara has also worked with the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Division of Prevention and Population Sciences. She assisted with conducting descriptive analyses and evaluation of the Healthy Here Mobile Farmer’s Market - evaluating barriers to better daily operations of the Mobile Farmer’s Market serving food deserts located in the South Valley and International District of Bernalillo County. Sara has case management experience from the University of New Mexico Hospital, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - coordinating patient care with inter-professional teams, counseling families to help overcome barriers of care, and assisted with discharge planning.

Sara received her MSW degree from New Mexico State University and completed her Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of New Mexico in Intercultural Communication and Sociology. She is working on completing a Public Health Certificate in the spring of 2020 at NMSU. Sara enjoys playing the double bass, showing her daughter the wonders of the world through travel, playing board games with family and friends, and lives with two loony and lovely cats in Albuquerque, NM.
