Katrina Fuller is currently a consultant at Constellation Consulting, teacher at Veritas Classical Christian Academy, & volunteer at Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance, New Mexico Coalition for Suicide Prevention & Awareness, & American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She is the retired owner of Natural Nesters, providing pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, & breastfeeding education, support, & integral therapy services in Hobbs, New Mexico, & surrounding areas from 2008-2022. She is a former Certified Prenatal Bonding Facilitator, Pregnancy Fitness Educator, Childbirth Educator, Teen Educator, Lactation Educator™, Antepartum Doula, Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Lactation Care Provider, HUG Teacher, Developmental Specialist III, Community Health Worker, Reiki III Practitioner, & Placenta Specialist. She also served as a former Childbirth & Postpartum Professional Association Childbirth & Lactation Educator Faculty Member, Injoy Health Education Advisory Board Member, New Mexico Junior College Instructor, New Mexico Lead WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force Chair & Southeast Regional Representative, & SAFE;NM Cofounder & Vice Chair.
Katrina received an A.A. and A.S. in General Education at New Mexico Junior College, a B.S. in Elementary Education & M.S. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction at University of the Southwest, & an Ed.D in Teacher Leadership at Walden University. After attending a BPC training with WIC, she was inspired to obtain certifications as a CPBF with B.O.N.D. University, CPFE, CCCE, CCTE, CLE®, CAPD, CLD, & CPD with CAPPA, IBCLC with IBLCE, LCP with NMBON, CHT with HUG Your Baby, DSIII with MECA Therapies, & CHW with NMDOH. She strives to utilize her background in education to provide classes, assistance, & counseling for families, facilitate trainings & courses for professionals, & contribute to the body of current, evidence-based research. She is recognized as the recipient of the WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Award, USW Young Alumnus Award, CAPPA Outstanding Achievement, Faculty of the Year, Most Enthusiastic Seeker of Certifications, & Sowing Seeds Awards, LCWN Career Achievement Award, UW Women's United Lea County Strong Award, and HCC/HJ Outstanding Citizen Award for her contribution to families in the community & state & volunteer service in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
