Lauren Ward Flowers is a community health leader, advocate, and nonprofit executive with more than a decade of experience advancing health equity, behavioral health services, and community wellness initiatives. She is the newly appointed Director of Community Impact for Constellation Consulting LLC, where she leads efforts to strengthen community partnerships, develop innovative public health strategies, and support initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable change for underserved populations.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from New Mexico Highlands University and has dedicated her professional career to improving health outcomes and expanding access to resources for individuals, families, and communities facing systemic barriers.

Throughout her career, Lauren has been a  voice in public health and community engagement. She has presented at local, regional, and national conferences, addressing the disproportionate health impacts experienced by African American communities. Her presentations have focused on critical topics including maternal mortality, breastfeeding disparities, maternal health outcomes, and the social determinants of health that contribute to persistent inequities among African American women. Through education, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships, she works to promote policies and practices that improve health outcomes and reduce disparities.

In leadership roles across the behavioral health and community services sectors, Lauren has overseen programs supporting behavioral health, substance use recovery, family services, youth development, housing stability, and health promotion. Her work is driven by a passion for empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and creating systems that foster long-term well-being.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lauren is a devoted wife and mother. She is the proud mother of seven children, whom she affectionately refers to as her “seven little humans.” Family is at the heart of everything she does and serves as her greatest source of inspiration. She has been married to her husband for more than five years, and together they have built a life centered on faith, resilience, service, and love.

When she is not working to advance community health initiatives, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family and listening to music. Her personal and professional journey reflects a lifelong commitment to advocacy, leadership, and creating healthier, stronger communities for future generations.
