Suzanne Lawson is an accomplished leader with a wealth of experience across nonprofit, corporate, and small business sectors. As a founding member of the organization and now Chief Operations Officer for Constellation Consulting, Suzanne plays a key role in overseeing daily operations and leading strategic initiatives for clients. She specializes in organizational management, strategic event management, marketing and communications, advocacy strategies, and capacity-building efforts. Her extensive expertise has made her a trusted advisor to organizations looking to implement best practices and achieve long-term success.

At Constellation Consulting, Suzanne leads numerous client projects, working with a variety of government, nonprofit and businesses projects to strengthen their operations and maximize their impact. She has been instrumental in the development of public health strategic plans, event management, and volunteer engagement. Suzanne has also managed events that have included coordinating medical symposiums and statewide coalition meetings, to overseeing fundraising, community awareness, and conference events for more than 1,500 attendees.

Under Suzanne's leadership, Constellation Consulting has experienced significant growth since its founding in 2018. In 2022, Constellation Consulting was named an Albuquerque Business First Fastest Growing Company with 269% growth over the three previous years. Constellation recently topped the $2 million revenue mark as it has completed work for clients including the New Mexico Department of Health, the New Mexico Children Youth & Families Department, the New Mexico Department of Transportation, and other clinical and quality improvement projects.

In addition to her role at Constellation Consulting, Suzanne has cultivated a strong reputation for her leadership in community service and advocacy. She is a founding member and Secretary of the Human Milk Repository of New Mexico, serves as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and volunteer for Girl Scouts New Mexico Trails, and provides communications support for Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico. Suzanne is also an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) – New Mexico Chapter, where she has held several leadership positions, including currently serving as Past President. Suzanne holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Public Relations from Arkansas State University. She is one of only 26 Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE) in New Mexico, a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, and holds certifications in Healthcare Management Change, Virtual Event & Meeting Management, and Inclusive Event Strategy.

Suzanne has been recognized through numerous awards, including being named a Forty Under 40 honoree by the New Mexico Business Weekly (now the Albuquerque Business First), a Woman on the Move by the YWCA, and as Director of the American Heart Assocation in New Mexico, Suzanne received the organization's Outstanding Achievement in Fundraising award. Suzanne also served as a Fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where her work focused on health equity, advocating for better access to prescription medications, and healthcare services. She is also a member of the Walt Disney World College Program Alumni Association.
