News: Constellation Consulting Team Members Recently Selected for Board Positions

ALBUQUERQUE, June 20, 2023 – Constellation Consulting is proud to announce three team members who have recently been elected to new Board positions.

Erin MarshallConstellation Consulting's CEO Erin Marshall is the 2024 Chair-Elect for the New Mexico State Bar Health Law Section (HLS), and the Treasurer for the New Mexico Women's Bar Association (NMWBA). The Health Law Section provides connection and professional development of lawyers practicing in a wide variety of health-related law with a focus on ethical issues as well as current legal developments. Marshall said, "As incoming Chair of the HLS, I hope to build on the work of my predecessors by providing legislative updates as they relate to health law in New Mexico, and to continue our established and respected Health Law Symposium in bringing the most pertinent issues to our legal community."  The NMWBA provides resources to empower women in the legal profession. Marshall said that she was motivated to join the organization after the death of the Hon. Diane Albert due to domestic violence. "I have found inspiration and strength among my fellow women lawyers," Marshall said. "I credit my experience and service with the NMWBA as my foundation for having the encouragement to start my own law firm." Marshall also serves as Board President for the Human Milk Repository of New Mexico.

 

Suzanne LawsonConstellation Consulting's Chief Operations Officer Suzanne Lawson will be installed this month as 2023-2024 President of the National Association of Women Business Owners - New Mexico Chapter. "As I accept this role as president for NAWBO-New Mexico, I do so knowing that I have the support, guidance, and encouragement of those who have gone before me, and those who will come after me," Lawson said. She added that she looks forward to focusing her time as Board President on fostering current and building new community collaborations, and supporting the organization's efforts on propelling women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power in New Mexico. Lawson also currently serves as Board Secretary of the Human Milk Repository of New Mexico.

 

Krista Martinez, Constellation Consulting's Lead Project Management Consultant, was recently installed to the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) 2023-2024 Board of Directors. NAWBO represents more than 12 million women business owners across America. The membership is diverse in many ways, including the size of their business, the sectors, and communities they serve, the stage of business development, their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, geographic business areas, and political leanings that determine policy views. “NAWBO started in the back room of an office in D.C., and the group has transformed into a nationwide organization with chapters across the country supporting women business owners in city centers and rural areas,” said Martinez. “I am honored to serve on the NAWBO National Board to continue to ensure that NAWBO’s mission will remain for decades to come.”
